Liberty University Artist Development Showcase Fall 2022 "Who Gave You The Right?" written and performed by Sarah Heath ©Sarah Heath Music Lead Vocal, Composition, and Arrangement: Sarah Heath Background Vocals: Anna Smith, Caroline Segars Musical Director and Keys: Everett Godwin Electric Guitar: Colton Williams, Aaron Fredricks Bass: Matthew Dillard Drums: Silas Snead Lyrics: Why are you texting me? I don't fall easily, fall easily After all these years, hindsight is clear So why would you even try here? You keep saying I'm the one, But you still walked away so Who gave you the right to come back in time? Who gave you the right to think I waited in line? Your pity cries ain't worth my time Who gave you the right? Who gave you the right? Why do you fluster me? Logic cannot compete, cannot compete After all these years, hindsight is clear So why am I freaking out here? You keep saying "Change the past..." So now I'll walk away Who gave you the right to come back in time? Who gave you the right to think I waited in line? Your pity cries ain't worth my time Who gave you the right? Who gave you the right? Why now? Why here? You made it pretty clear Why here? Why now? Baby, put your pride down Why now? Why here? You made it pretty clear Why here? Why now? Who gave you the right to come back in time? Who gave you the right to think I waited in line? Your pity cries ain't worth my time Who gave you the right? Who gave you the right?

About

Sarah Heath is a 20-year-old artist, songwriter, worship leader, and music director from Atlanta, Georgia, currently living in Lynchburg, Virginia. Performing onstage since she was four, music and theatre have been her passions for most of her life. She is a part of Liberty University's Artist Development Program through the Michael W. Smith Center of Commercial Music. She has had the honor of sharing the stage with many well-known Christian artists such as Michael W. Smith and CeCe Winans. She hopes that her music is able to connect with at least one person and convince them that life is truly worth living.
